PORTRAITS OF TRUTH

Like many, I am in search of my fire, the source of my energy, some call it Diamond (Hillman, 1996): well I believe that for me it is people. And I express my energy by capturing them, I feel the need to steal that moment, that laugh, that grimace and to tell the world about it, to tell, once again, how human we are. I will never tire of that.

SEARCHING FOR THE REAL YOU

I left home physically in April and started my journey around Europe, volunteering for various festivals. I left the same day also mentally, the real change began: my way of life.

Thanks to the people I met on the way, I am slowly learning who I want to become, how I want to capture.

I fell in love with dance festivals, music festivals, traditional and non-traditional, circus festivals, juggling festivals, where people are real and open, sharing their joy and dedication to their passions.

ODD POSITIONS, UNEXPECTED SYMMETRIES, SECRET FOLDS, HIDDEN MOMENTS

Capturing for later, to relive a second time those small, perhaps useless, almost ridiculous details that recall the bewitching imperfections of people.

TRYING TO CATCH THE RAW MOMENT

My goal, my pleasure is to wait, among the people passing by, to have the sensitivity of the present moment. To see something, a fleeting moment of surprise, the purest facial expression, the first, genuine reaction.

GLORIFYING SIMPLICITY

I want to talk about relationships. I want to try to encapsulate human contact, love, dedication, commitment, confrontation. I want to write with images one of the billions of possible stories of connection, and make it special, because specialness comes with will.
